RESTRICTIONS

Content Requirement: No MP3 mirrors, pornographic, nor any other "bandwidth/cpu abusive sites" permitted. We reserve the right to determine what sites are deemed abusive. Should your web site fall into this category, consider migrating to a dedicated server where you have full control over the resources.

Unlimited E-mail Accounts

Set up as many users as you need for your employees, family, etc. Check your email from popular software like Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape, and Eudora.** See Support for details on setting up your accounts.

**You must use the outgoing server of your current ISP to send mail from your silver account. Gold accounts can send and receive email with their domains. We apologize for the inconvience, however this is a function of the cobalt server and not our administration of it.

***Aol and Compuserve do not provide outgoing mail servers, however there are 3rd party software packages to make this possible.

E-Mail Auto Responders

An auto responder is a special '.forward' configuration which can send an automated reply to incoming emails.

This can be especially helpful if you respond to the same type of e-mail often. It is also useful if you would like to add an automatic response to emails sent to a specific address at your domain (Such as sales@yourcompany.com).

You can use unlimited auto responders with our web servers..

E-Mail Forwarding

Create email aliases or forward your website email to any other email address as you see fit. See support for how to set up email forwarding.

Mailing Lists

There are restrictions about using our servers for spam, however, if you need to send out newsletters or sale information to your customers, you can create a mailing list to send them the email all at once. See support for how to set this up for your website.

FTP Service

Use Any FTP client software of your choice to upload your website from your home computer to our servers. The user name and password you were assigned is the same to get FTP access. See support for tips on FTP software set up.

Web Usage Reports

Find out how many visits you are getting with our pre-installed tracking software. This statistic software will tell you number of visits per day, month, and year. It has been noted by other customers that the YABB bulletin board script does not run on our servers for the SILVER plan and you will have to upgrade to the GOLD plan to use it. We apologize for the inconvience, however this is a product of the cobalt server and not our administration of it. You will get more space anyway, to hold all of your posts.
