Our support staff will research and report back to you based on your detailed needs on what the best type of computer system you need within your budget. We will spend the time researching, which can be exhausting, for you!

Domain Name Registration and Management
Having a web site is one thing, but managing a domain name in addition to your web site can be annoying because the renewals can be tricky. We make it simple by managing it for you. Purchase your domain name through us for only $15.00/year. That's 50% Network Solutions yearly fee. We'll make sure it doesn't expire when you least expect it.
Afraid we'll hold your domain name hostage? Never!! Unlike many companies that seek to hold transfers of domain names from their registrar to another, we will NEVER hold your domain name hostage for any reason. With one exception. If you don't pay the bill we won't renew it and another party has access to purchasing it.
If you wish to manage your own domain name, we recommend GoDaddy.com for the easiest way to manage and purchase your domain name. DO NOT REGISTER YOUR DOMAIN WITH NETWORK SOLUTIONS!! Note: you will have to know how to make changes to portions of your account so the domain name correctly points to your hosting account here at Thrifty Planet. If you belong to GoDaddy.com or Register.com, we'd be happy to make those changes for you free if provided the correct login and password to access your account.
Domain Forwarding Services
For those of you who have multiple domains purchased:
We will forward each domain name to your central domain name for $3.00 per month per domain. Payable in 6 or 12 month increments to match your hosting contract.
We don't recommend domain name forwarding if you are trying to help your search engine positioning as search engines look down upon submission of domains that redirect to another web site
If you are simply trying to buy domain names so that your competition can't, then we suggest just parking them for free at what ever registrar you have your domains with.
You can however improve your search engine positioning and location by turning on these other domain names with our silver hosting account. Putting mini-web sites that funnel back to your main web site seem to work well in web marketing strategies. We do not endorse search engine spamming practices.
Graphic Design (for advertising banners, logo creation, brochures, flyers, posters, etc.)
We have experience with creating advertising banners for your banner campaigns on various search engines. What ever your needs are; brochures, flyers, or posters, we have all the software and skill necessary to make your graphic presentation.
We also provide graphic work such as photo restoration. For Example: This client had a vintage photo of a child where said child had taken a red ball point pen to the picture....perhaps to enhance it. There were also creases in the original paper that were edited out.
We were able to restore the photo and make prints directly from our printers as well as send our client the restored photo on disk for reproduction later.

Rates for photo restoration run from $20.00 to $40.00 per hour and includes 3 prints up to 8X10 in size as well as a complementary disk with printable files of your old and new versions of the photo. For a quote, please use our contact page.

Tired of raising costs for 56k dial up? Just need the minimal service for when you travel? We can offer you dial up access with 3 different plans to suit your budget. If you reside in California, we have a great plan for only $10.00 per month that includes your own e-mail address and many calling numbers throughout the state. We also have a great national plan for $15.00 per month.
There are no bizarre browsers to upload, no annoying banner ads, just simply plain dial up.

Thrifty Planet recently walked Hammex Hawaii through the maze of forms, file uploads, and communications with Amazon to set up their Deluxe Hanging Chairs into the Amazon.Com marketplace.
It took approximately two weeks of communication and set up to go live, however, since Amazon is currently working on streamlining their services, this time limit is going to decrease.
